Warehouse Manager

We (Guang International Ltd) are a wholesaler, importer of dollar store items, located in Auckland. We supply them to diverse retail shops across New Zealand. We are currently looking for a Sale Manager. As a key player reporting directly to the Director, you will have the opportunity and freedom to lead cross functional customer account teams in the development and delivery of growth strategies. Summary of Job Responsibilities Plan, organise, direct, control, and coordinate the supply, storage, and distribution of imported goods across New Zealand Develop, implement, and monitor purchasing, storage, and distribution strategies, policies, and procedures Prepare and execute stock control plans to maintain required inventory levels at minimum operational cost Negotiate contracts with suppliers to meet quality, pricing, and delivery requirements Operate and oversee recording systems to track all stock movements, ensuring timely re-ordering and restocking Liaise with sales teams, logistics providers, and customers regarding dispatch schedules and delivery requirements Lead, supervise, and monitor warehouse staff performance, providing guidance and training as required Ensure timely provision and distribution of products to meet customer and client demands Qualifications/Experience Applicants for this role should have: At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, or a Bachelor’s degree in any field. Strong organisational and inventory management skills Proven ability to manage supply chains and control stock efficiently High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities Excellent communication skills with internal teams and external stakeholders What we are offering: Opportunity to report directly to the Director Leadership role in a growing wholesale import business Supportive team environment Competitive remuneration based on experience Hours: Full-time ( Minimum 30– Maximum 48 hours per week) Pay Rate: $28 – $32 per hour (depending on experience) This is a great opportunity for a diverse and challenging role in a fast-paced environment.
