Warehouse Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our Auckland distribution team. Reporting to the Inwards & Inventory Supervisor, this role is a senior member of the warehouse team responsible for supporting inventory accuracy, inward goods management, stock control and warehouse operations. The role provides operational support and guidance to the wider team and acts as a key point of contact during periods when the Supervisor is unavailable. The position has no direct reports but plays an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the warehouse. Key responsibilities Receiving, unloading and accurately processing inward goods. Unloading containers and warehouse deliveries. Maintaining inventory accuracy and stock integrity. Picking, packing and dispatching customer and inter-branch orders. Coordinating product movements within the warehouse. Operating forklifts safely and efficiently. Assisting with cycle counts and stocktakes. Supporting MPI transitional facility processes and compliance requirements. Providing delivery run cover when required. Supporting the day-to-day coordination of warehouse activities and assisting with operational decision-making in the absence of the Inwards & Inventory Supervisor. About you At least 3 years' warehouse, store person, inventory control or distribution centre experience. A current forklift licence and proven forklift operating experience. Experience with inventory management and stock control processes. A full New Zealand Driver Licence. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Good computer literacy and administrative accuracy. The ability to work independently and provide operational support to the wider warehouse team. A proactive, reliable and team-focused attitude.
