Job Description AFFCO Head Office is looking for an organised and detail-focused Documentation Coordinator to join our Customer Service and Documentation team. Based at our Head Office in Horotiu and reporting to the Customer Service and Documentation Manager, you will prepare and process accurate export documentation to support the efficient end-to-end management of customer orders. You will work closely with internal teams, customers and external stakeholders to ensure documentation requirements are met and orders progress smoothly through the supply chain. This role requires a high degree of autonomy, with the ability to effectively plan, prioritise and manage competing tasks while consistently meeting documentation, customer and shipment deadlines. Key Responsibilities Completing and processing accurate shipping and export documentation in line with New Zealand export requirements and destination-country import requirements. Planning, prioritising and self-managing competing tasks and changing requirements to ensure critical documentation, customer order and shipment deadlines are met. Identifying, troubleshooting and resolving documentation or order-related issues promptly, using sound judgement and escalating where required. Liaising with regulatory authorities, shipping lines, customers and other stakeholders across the supply chain. Working closely with the Customer Service and Documentation team, Logistics and wider AFFCO teams to share information, maintain workflow continuity and respond to changing business requirements. Taking ownership of work, maintaining high standards and providing professional, responsive service to internal and external customers. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will bring: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Proven ability to self-manage, organise and prioritise competing tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision. Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills. An practical approach to problem solving, sound judgement and the confidence to show initiative and take ownership. The ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively across teams. Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning business systems. Previous experience in export documentation, logistics, customer service or a similar coordination role would be advantageous.
