About the role Day to day, you'll be meeting with jobseekers and coordinating opportunities to support successful placements. A key part of the role is using government regulated systems and CRM data to accurately track engagement, progress, and outcomes – ensuring the work we do is measurable, consistent, and aligned to real impact. What you'll be doing: Work closely with jobseekers to understand their skills, experience, and career goals, providing tailored support, coaching, and guidance to help them move into meaningful employment and ensure employment goes the distance Support the delivery of pre-employment training that assist in building participants' confidence for workforce readiness. Assist in building and maintaining relationships with key Ministry of Social Development (MSD) stakeholders Work collaboratively as part of a high-energy team, sharing insights, supporting each other, and contributing to strong collective employment outcomes Build and maintain strong relationships with local employers, understanding their workforce needs and proactively matching the right people to the right roles Develop and improve systems and processes that strengthen delivery, ensuring data and outcomes are well structured and used to drive better results About you: Great people skills and a natural ability to build rapport , whether you’re coming from customer service, retail, hospitality, recruitment, employment services, or a similar people-focused role A practical, solutions-focused mindset , with the confidence to think on your feet, solve problems and find a way forward for both jobseekers and employers Able to work independently and as part of a team , bringing energy, initiative and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment Comfortable with technology and digital systems , with experience using CRM systems being an advantage. You don’t need to know everything on day one — we’re looking for someone who is curious, confident learning new systems and keen to find better ways of doing things Experience is valued, but attitude matters just as much — whether this is your first job in employment support or bringing years of experience, we want someone who genuinely enjoys helping people move forward in work and life.
