Catering Assistant - Wakefield Hospital, Wellington Catering Assistant-Wakefield Hospital, Wellington Schedule 32.5 hours per week Monday 6.30 to 3pm Wed to Friday 2pm to 8pm Sat 6.30 to 3pm Are you an energetic team player with a can-do attitude and a friendly smile? To make this happen, we need a Catering Assistant who is passionate about excellent service to support our chefs in the kitchen. What you’ll do ensure the kitchen is safe and hazard free by doing dishes, removing rubbish, and cleaning. compile meal trays, deliver to patient rooms, and clear at end of service. ensure meals delivered comply with dietary requirements top up supplies and generally help to keep the kitchen running smoothly. Who You Are show attention to detail. have good time management skills and the ability to take instruction and initiative. be able to work safely in an industrial kitchen with large hot pots and trays. maintain a clean, tidy, safe and hazard free environment. be an exceptional team player with a flexible, committed, can-do attitude. excellent communications skills as patient interaction is necessary in this role. friendly and engaging and know what it means to deliver outstanding customer service.
