About the Project: The Te Pae o Tararua (Ō2NL) highway will dramatically improve safety, resilience, and efficiency, while increasing transport choices for a growing population. The project is being delivered in partnership with NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi, Muaūpoko Tribal Authority, local hapū of Ngāti Raukawa ki te Tonga, and Horowhenua District Council. This is a transformative infrastructure project being delivered using a two-alliance model. Our shared project principles include treading lightly on the whenua, building strong partnerships, and delivering an enduring legacy. We’re looking for great people to join us on this unique journey. About the Role: This role is a fixed-term position until December 2028. Act as a trusted point of contact for worker health and wellbeing across site and offices. Provide early intervention support, assessment and referrals to appropriate health and wellbeing services. Support workers and their whānau to navigate services and reduce barriers to access. Support injury management, rehabilitation and return-to-work pathways alongside the Health & Safety team. Deliver health and wellbeing education through toolbox talks, workshops and workforce engagement activities. Build strong relationships with local iwi, community providers and external support services. Provide guidance on fatigue management, fitness for work, and wellbeing-related risks. About You: Registered Nurse (NZ) or equivalent clinical qualification. Tertiary qualification in Health, Wellbeing, Psychology, Social Work or related field (preferred). Current Annual Practising Certificate and/or registration with a relevant professional body. Experience working in a Hauora, health, wellbeing or community support role. Strong understanding of health, wellbeing and support services in Aotearoa New Zealand. Experience in construction, infrastructure or high-risk environments (desirable).
