Lead and develop high-performing teams in a complex, people-focused environment Create a positive, motivating, and accountable culture focused on quality service delivery Collaborate with regional leaders to deliver a consistent “one team” approach Support and uplift staff capability, performance, and wellbeing Manage resources and budgets, ensuring timely reporting and sound decision-making Represent MSD professionally in regional initiatives and community engagement You may also contribute to local or regional projects and engage with community partners, local government, and other stakeholders to support positive outcomes for whānau. You are an experienced people leader with a strong understanding of service delivery and operational leadership. You bring sound judgement, clear communication, and the ability to lead through complexity. Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams Strong relationship-building skills across diverse internal and external stakeholders The ability to communicate effectively with different audiences Experience managing performance, budgets, and reporting requirements A commitment to MSD values and mana-enhancing service delivery An understanding of MSD's purpose and the services we provide to New Zealanders An understanding of Te Ao Māori and delivering culturally responsive services for iwi and whānau.
