Heavy Vehicle & Driver Trainer – Class 1-5 / WTR / Forklift Matapuna Driver Training is looking for an experienced and motivated Driver Trainer to deliver professional, practical and engaging training across a range of driver licensing and workplace training programmes. You will deliver training in Class 1–5 driver licensing, WTR endorsements – Wheels, Tracks & Rollers, forklift training and assessment, heavy vehicle driver training, and workplace and industry-based training aligned with NZTA and NZQA standards. Key responsibilities Deliver Class 1–5 driver licensing training Deliver WTR endorsements – Wheels, Tracks & Rollers training Deliver forklift training and assessment Deliver heavy vehicle driver training Deliver workplace and industry-based training Deliver NZTA and NZQA-aligned training and assessment Work with learners from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities Deliver both practical and classroom-based training About you New Zealand Certificate in Adult and Tertiary Teaching – Level 4 Experienced and confident behind the wheel Professional, reliable and safety-focused Passionate about helping people learn and develop Able to work with learners from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities Confident delivering both practical and classroom-based training Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Committed to quality training, assessment and compliance Willing to continue developing their own skills and knowledge About us Matapuna Driver Training is an established and growing driver training organisation.
