The role will involve the following responsibilities: Ensuring kitchen equipment's are in proper working conditions. Prepare and plate up meals as require with any dietary requirements. Ensuring the quality of food before it leaves the kitchen Ordering stock and checking goods on arrival. Assisting with menu planning. Maintain and oreserve standards of food safety at all times. Food wastage and cost control and regular stock checks/stock takes. Train other kitchen staff whenever required. Keep all work areas surfaces clean and tidy at all times, including washing dishes, keeping fridges/freezers clean inside and out. Such other duties assigned from time to time by the employer. Normal employment hours will be minimum 30 hours per week. Pay rate will be $25.00 per hour. Ideal candidates must demostrate the following; Must have minimum of 2 years experince preparing curries and tandoori dishes. Flexibility to work including weekeds and on public holidays.
