Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Oracle EPM Planning Cloud Functional Consultant to provide onsite functional and application support across the Oracle EPM landscape, primarily focusing on Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) and Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS). The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, and technical teams to support budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, enhancements, integrations, monthly maintenance, and production support activities. Key Responsibilities Provide functional support for Oracle EPBCS and ARCS, including issue resolution, enhancements, and business query support. Analyze business requirements and translate them into Oracle EPM solutions aligned with planning requirements. Configure and maintain planning artefacts such as metadata, dimensions, forms, business rules, dashboards, and reports. Support budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, reconciliation, and financial planning processes. Identify continuous improvement opportunities and support proactive issue resolution. Develop and maintain custom EPM application artefacts supporting forecasting and budgeting processes. Assist with planning, estimation, design, impact assessment, and implementation of new enhancements. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including interface specifications, solution designs, and impact assessments. Monitor progress of assigned activities and proactively address risks, issues, and dependencies. Develop, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot EPM data integration processes. Support automation of data loads, backups, refreshes, and reporting processes. Collaborate with technical teams on integration-related changes and production support activities. Support Oracle EPM Cloud security, user access management, and audit tracking activities. Monitor Oracle EPM production services, system alerts, release status, and module updates. Review Oracle monthly updates and assess potential business or application impact. Review and maintain operational logs and related support documentation. Execute and monitor backup schedules in line with operational requirements. Test metadata and data recovery procedures regularly and perform recovery tasks as needed. Support monthly maintenance activities, including review of logs and Oracle release updates. Perform Unit Testing and support System Integration Testing (SIT). Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) led by business users. Support production deployment, post-deployment validation, and hypercare activities. Respond to cross-functional queries, information requests, Jira items, and service tickets. Work to prioritize activities based on available capacity and business criticality. Assign and manage tasks based on urgency, availability, and team member skills where applicable. Required Skills and Experience Strong Oracle EPM Cloud functional experience, preferably across implementation and support engagements. Hands‑on experience with Oracle EPBCS / Planning Cloud and Oracle ARCS. Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, management reporting, and month‑end processes. Ability to work with finance stakeholders to understand business requirements and propose fit‑for‑purpose EPM solutions. Experience with EPM Data Management / Data Integration, Data Exchange, and integration troubleshooting. Knowledge of Calculation Manager, business rules, Smart View, forms, dashboards, reports, valid intersections, and security configuration. Experience with EPM Automate or similar automation utilities for data load, backup, refresh, and reporting activities. Experience supporting integrations between Oracle EPM and ERP systems is preferred. Experience in application support, enhancement delivery, incident resolution, and service request management. Ability to perform impact assessments, effort estimation, documentation, testing, and deployment support. Experience working with Jira or similar service management tools. Experience working within ITIL‑based support environments is desirable. Experience supporting public sector or large enterprise finance environments. **Preferred Experience** Oracle EPM Cloud certifications. Experience with Agile delivery methods and cross‑functional project teams. Experience working knowledge of Oracle EBS Financials is an advantage. Cognizant is an equal opportunity employer.
