On their behalf we are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to lead crews on technically challenging and rewarding infrastructure projects. This role will suit someone who is happy to jump on tools when needed, leads from the front, and keeps projects running safely and efficiently. You will be joining a contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex civil works including substations, renewable energy developments, drainage infrastructure and concrete structures. About the Role You will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of site operations, ensuring crews are organised, productive, and working safely. Responsibilities include: Supervising crews and subcontractors on civil construction sites Leading toolbox meetings and maintaining strong safety standards Reviewing drawings and coordinating daily site activities Monitoring productivity and quality of work Liaising with project managers and engineers Ensuring plant, materials and resources are available and organised Maintaining site records and documentation About You We are looking for a practical leader who knows how to run a site and keep crews motivated. You will ideally have: 3+ years New Zealand experience supervising civil construction crews Experience with earthworks, drainage and or concrete construction Strong knowledge of health & safety practices Ability to read drawings and coordinate site activities Good communication with crews, clients and project teams Willingness to travel for projects when required Citizenship or Permanent residency (our client is not accredited) Due to the nature of this position pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening and background checks will be required.
