About the Role\n

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join a well-established hospital service in Christchurch. You will work within a collaborative multidisciplinary team delivering specialist mental health care to children, adolescents, and their families.

Key responsibilities include:\n

  • Providing comprehensive psychiatric assessments and evidence-based treatment
  • \n
  • Developing and implementing individualised care plans
  • \n
  • Working closely with psychologists, nurses, social workers, and external providers
  • \n
  • Supervising and supporting junior medical staff
  • \n
  • Contributing to service development and quality improvement initiatives
  • \n
