Previous experience in civil construction with digger and roller experience is required with current WTR endorsements. The Role You will be working on a variety of civil construction sites across Christchurch, supporting crews on infrastructure and roading projects. This is hands‑on, physical work where no two days are the same. Your duties may include: Proficient Wheel, Track and Roller operation Trenching, digging, and site preparation Pipe laying and drainage work Concrete preparation and finishing support Operating small tools and equipment Assisting machine operators and supervisors Maintaining a safe and tidy worksite This role requires a good level of physical fitness, as you will be lifting, digging, working outdoors, and on your feet for extended periods. Early starts (typically 5:00am-6:00am) are common, so reliable transport is essential.
