When you join Sleepyhead, you’re not just joining a company—you’re becoming part of the family. About The Role We are looking for a reliable and motivated Tape Edger to join our manufacturing team. As a Tape Edger, you’ll play an important role in the production process, ensuring mattress borders and panels are finished accurately to our quality standards. You’ll work as part of a supportive production team and receive training to develop your skills. Key Responsibilities Operate tape edging and sewing machinery safely and efficiently Edge and finish mattress panels and borders to required specifications Attach tape accurately and consistently to achieve a high-quality finish Prepare materials and components for sewing Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality and production standards Identify and report defects, faults or quality issues Follow production instructions, work orders and standard operating procedures Complete job rotation and work across other production tasks within your training and competency Maintain a clean, organised and safe work area Complete housekeeping and participate in 5S and continuous improvement activities Work collaboratively with team members to meet production requirements Follow all health, safety and PPE requirements About You You don’t need extensive experience, although sewing, upholstery, manufacturing or tape edging experience would be an advantage .
