Visiting Teacher and Administration (ECE Registered Teacher) Organic Kids Limited – Christchurch, South Island Organic Kids is a home-based early childhood education network grounded in relationships, nature-based learning, and respectful practice. We are looking for aregistered ECE teacherto join our small, supportive team in a unique hybrid role that combines administration, programme leadership, and visiting teacher responsibilities. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys organisation and systems, while also wanting to remain actively connected to teaching and mentoring within a home-based environment. About the role The role is8 hours per week initially, worked acrossWednesday and Thursday, and includes both administration responsibilities and leadership of one of our regularForest Education programmes. You will be responsible for planning and facilitating fortnighlty Forest Ed sessions, building relationships with tamariki, educators, and whānau, and supporting learning in a nature-based environment. Alongside this, you will provide administrative support across our home-based network. As the role develops, there is strong potential for the visiting teacher component to increase, including educator visits, mentoring, curriculum support, and professional guidance. Your responsibilities will include Planning and leading a regular Forest Education programme Supporting tamariki and educators in a home-based ECE setting Maintaining educator records and administrative systems Ministry and WINZ-related administration General operational and organisational support Contributing to curriculum and programme development We're looking for someone who Holds aNew Zealand ECE teaching qualification and current practising certificate Has a passion for nature-based learning and working with children outdoors Is organised, reliable, and comfortable with administration tasks Enjoys working independently and as part of a collaborative team Is interested in growing into a broader visiting teacher role over time What we offer Flexible work arrangements with a significant work-from-home component A supportive and values-driven team Opportunities for mentoring and professional growth A role that can evolve into a larger visiting teacher position Hours:8 hours per week initially (Wednesday and Thursday), with potential for additional hours and an increased visiting teacher component over time. #J-18808-Ljbffr
