About the Role In thisdynamic role, you will provide comprehensive assessment, treatment, and casemanagement for children, adolescents, and their families or caregivers. You'llwork collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, contributing yourexpertise to ensure holistic and culturally responsive care. Your rolewill also involve consultation and liaison with external services and agencies,helping to build strong, supportive networks around our young people. As partof our commitment to continuous improvement, you'll contribute to both clinicaland service development initiatives, bringing your insights and ideas to shapethe future of our service. Educationand information-sharing are also key elements of this position—you’ll provideguidance and support to external agencies, as well as empowering tamariki,rangatahi and their whanau with the knowledge they need to navigatetheirmental health journey. Salary forthis role is based on MECA PSA Allied step 1 – Step 7 $77,087 - $107,600 and PSANursing Step 1 – step 8 $75,773 - $106,739 Pro rata and depending on experience. About theTeam/Service/ Location Join our small, supportive Child andAdolescent Mental Health Service team based in sunny Kāpiti, where we prideourselves on working closely with NGOs, schools, and the wider community tomake a real difference for tamariki and rangatahi. Kapiti CAMHS utilises thechoice and Partnership Approach (CAPA) to provide efficient accessible servicesfor tamariki, rangatahi and their whanau. About you Relevantqualification in mental health, nursing, social work or occupational therapy,with current professional registration in New Zealand. A good sense of humour and a teamspirit are definite advantages in this rewarding role. Experience working with children, adolescents, andtheir whānau in a mental health setting. Strong assessment, risk management, and therapeutic interventionskills. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team andalongside community partners. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Culturalcompetency, and commitment to working in partnership with Māori andPacific communities.
