Anderson Joinery – Ashburton, South Island You'll take ownership of your projects from the initial client conversation through design, estimating and project coordination to liaising with suppliers and preparing the project for production and installation. You'll work with a variety of clients and industry professionals, including homeowners, builders, architects and interior designers. Projects include both new builds and renovations, with kitchens making up the majority of the work alongside other residential joinery. Key responsibilities Meet with clients to understand their lifestyle, functional requirements, design preferences and budget. Conduct site visits and accurate measure-ups where required. Develop functional, practical and visually strong kitchen and joinery designs. Produce accurate drawings, plans, elevations, specifications and 3D designs as required. Develop designs from concept through to approved production documentation. Prepare accurate estimates and quotations. Manage client approvals, selections, variations and design changes. Coordinate supplier requirements, pricing, availability and lead times. Work closely with the workshop team to ensure designs are practical and suitable for manufacture. Communicate clearly with clients, suppliers and other project stakeholders. About you Strong kitchen, cabinetry, joinery or interior design capability. High technical competency and attention to detail. A good understanding of how cabinetry and joinery are manufactured and installed. Confidence using Cabinet Vision. Experience with Vortex and Monday.com. Strong client communication and listening skills. The ability to understand what a client actually needs and translate that into a practical design. The ability to read and work with architectural drawings and plans. Strong organisational and time-management skills. A collaborative approach and the ability to work closely with the workshop and wider team.
