The role: We have an Opportunity available for an enthusiastic Greenspace Labourer to join our high performing team in Nelson/Tasman. The role involves a variety of grounds maintenance, weed spray operations, mowing and pilot driving for our main customers in the area. This is a very hands-on outdoor role suited to someone who enjoys working in a variety of environments and takes pride in maintaining the region's parks, reserves, roadsides, and public spaces to a high standard. Key responsibilities: Weed eating and vegetation control in parks, reserves, and public spaces Hedge trimming and maintaining landscaped areas Roadside vegetation management and footpath clearing ATV spraying and herbicide application in accordance with approved procedures Push mowing in parks, reserves, and other public areas Piloting for reach-arm mowing Identifying and managing weeds and overgrown vegetation Carrying out daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance Working safely and complying with all health, safety, and environmental requirements About you: Hands on experience and a good understanding of environmental laboring (machinery operation, spraying, mowing equipment, and vegetation control). Understands and adheres to Health & Safety guidelines and best practice. Enjoys working outside in all weather. Must be physically fit and able. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude. A current and clean Driver’s license class 1. TC/ STMS desirable A proven record of being a team player What’s on offer: A role where you can be challenged and supported.
