Health Care Assistant - Bladder and Bowel Health Care Assistant - Bladder and Bowel We have an exciting opportunity for a Health Care Assistant with previous health experience to join our friendly, passionate and knowledgeable team at our Bladder and Bowel Nursing Service. We are offering a permanent 1.0FTE (40 hours per week) position in the Bladder and Bowel team based at Whakatane Hospital. The role requires availability to work between 8.00am and 4.30pm, Monday - Sunday. The role involves supporting the service by providing high-quality care under the direction of the Specialty Nurse/Registered Nurse and may include non-clinical tasks. Working for Health New Zealand, full orientation and training support is provided to prepare you to work in the Bladder and Bowel Nursing Service. Comprising of a dedicated team of professionals, including a Clinical Nurse Specialist, Registered Nurse and Health Care Assistants. The successful applicant is required to have previous health experience, customer service knowledge, effective communication skills and computer knowledge. Health Care Assistants work independently under the supervision of a highly motivated, friend and enthusiastic nursing team who are committed to delivering comprehensive quality care.
