Our 4.5 starhotel is looking for a Night Porter to join our friendly and professional team. This will be a permanent position with a minimum guarantee of 30 hours per week. A little taste of your day-to-day The moment a guest steps into one of our hotels, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. In your Night Porter duties, you will be responsible for ensuring the public spaces and bathrooms are clean and ready for the following day. Other duties include: In the event of an emergency, you will assist your leader with hotel evacuation. Checking guests in/out as required. Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home. Respond quickly to guest requests Make & deliver room service requests Assist with preparing spaces for the following shifts, including assisting the breakfast team where needed. Valet parking and retrieving cars for guests What we need from you Be a night owl! You will be required to work the overnight shift from 11pm to 7.30am and able to work on weekends and public holidays. You will be guest focused, with no request too big or too small to ensure guest satisfaction. A team player attitude - willing to support the breakfast or early front desk teams if required Have a full driver's license A NZQF Level 2 or 3 Qualification in hospitality, customer service, or a related field OR at least 1 year of relevant experience.
