Caregiver - Part-time (Memory Care) Summerset - Care Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand Job Description As a Caregiver at our St Johns village, you will work as part of a team that creates the safest, healthiest and most enjoyable lifestyle for our residents. This role is varied and centres around providing personal care and assistance to our resident’s daily lives. Typical duties include: Delivering meals and helping with mealtimes Aiding with hygiene, such as showering Assisting with Individual care plan requirements, such as walks and exercises Helping with activities, such as puzzles, table tennis etc We are looking for two permanent part-time team members, to work on a rotating roster across Monday to Sunday, and shift times will be 4.00pm to 8.00pm. Qualifications You will naturally be empathetic, kind and patient, and thrive in a role where your compassion and care make a difference to people’s lives. You’ll bring with you: Experience in aged care or a similar role Dementia care qualifications. Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships Commitment to a rotational roster.
