The Job We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with civil structures experience and capable of running multiple projects at a time. You will enjoy working on a variety of projects, up for a challenge, and like to solve problems. Our Project Managers are an integral part of the construction team, with each person taking responsibility for undertaking, overseeing, managing and reporting on the progress of their individual projects. As a Breen Project Manager you will be responsible for carrying out the management, planning, implementation, reporting and checking on all on-site construction personnel and activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget without compromising quality. You will require experience and skills in managing health & safety, client relationships, range of construction methodology’s, program planning, contract administration and overseeing site management. What you'll need to succeed A minimum of 5 years previous experience in civil construction with direct experience in civil structures Ability to build relationships both internally and externally with suppliers, subcontractors and clients, team player. Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and good numeracy Ability to work as part of a team, but confident when working independently and unsupervised An analytical and logical approach to organizing and carrying out your work Good oral and written communication skills Personal drive, initiative and a natural curiosity to understand and solve problems Strong understanding of H&S at Work Act Strong computer skills including MS Project, experience with Procore preferred We offer you A role with diverse projects and methodologies to solve A collaborative, values-driven team environment A stable pipeline of quality projects Competitive remuneration reflective of experience Long term career opportunities with a respected construction company It is a requirement that you must have the current right to live and work in NZ to be considered for this role.
