The Opportunity You will initially be supporting a major infrastructure and asset programme, delivering a diverse range of engineering surveying services for a key client. Engineering & Construction Surveying Topographic surveys and plans Survey control establishment and management As-built surveys and drawings Volume and quantity calculations Reality Capture & Spatial Data Point cloud capture and processing Digital terrain models GIS-compatible datasets Monitoring & Asset Surveys Floor level surveys Deformation monitoring surveys Precision surveying and reporting Technical Delivery Survey data processing and quality assurance Technical memoranda and survey reports Client-facing technical support Beyond this programme, you'll also contribute to the broader range of services delivered by Inovo, including: Land development and subdivision projects Multi-unit and comprehensive developments Infrastructure and transport projects Construction and engineering surveys Supporting capability development through mentoring, coaching and knowledge sharing. About You We're looking for a capable and motivated surveyor who combines strong technical expertise with a practical, solutions-focused approach. A recognised qualification in Surveying, Geospatial Engineering or a related discipline, and significant engineering surveying experience. Proven experience delivering infrastructure, asset and construction surveying projects, including deformation monitoring and precision surveying. Strong capability in survey fieldwork, data processing, quality assurance and technical reporting. Experience with modern survey technology and software, including Trimble SX12, scanning and reality capture workflows. The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Be a New Zealand/Australian Citizen or hold NZ permanent residency status. A current and full New Zealand driver's licence. Working at Inovo We are professional, hardworking people.
