This role is permanent working 32 hours per week across 4 days from Monday-Friday. About us Newsham Park Medical is a family-oriented General Practice, seeking a motivated and dynamic Nurse manager/Nurse Lead to join our vibrant growing team. Key attributes include: A current New Zealand practicing certificate and current CPR certificate General practice nursing experience (essential) General practice nursing management experience (desirable) Leadership and management aspirations Clinical experience and passion for, primary care and primary care nursing Proven quality improvement experience Great communication skills at all levels Medtech Evolution experience Key responsibilities Lead a nursing team Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, for safe, high-quality, and efficient patient care. Manage recruitment, daily operations, collaborate with stakeholders' leadership, Managing rosters, onboarding, performance reviews, staff development, and workforce planning Balance administrative duties with clinical responsibilities within the role. Sound financial administration skills, including claims processing, reconciliations, and reporting Understanding of health and safety obligations and quality compliance requirements Supporting the implementation of new systems, technologies, and process improvements About you A current New Zealand practicing certificate and current CPR certificate General practice nursing experience in primary health Leadership and management aspirations Clinical experience and passion for primary care and primary care nursing Great communication skills at all levels Medtech Evolution experience Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit. #J-18808-Ljbffr
