Accountant Archway Recruitment Wellington Central, Wellington, NZ $80 per hour 30-40 hours a week 21 September 2026 through to January 2027 The Role Reporting to the Financial Accounting Manager, this role will be responsible for delivering key month-end accounting activities and supporting a range of financial processes to ensure the accuracy, integrity and timely completion of financial reporting requirements. This is a hands-on role that will see you working closely with finance and operational stakeholders, contributing to robust financial controls and supporting both operational and statutory reporting obligations. Key responsibilities Fixed asset accounting and reconciliations Revenue accounting and journal preparation Bank journals and balance sheet reconciliations Completion of pre-ledger and post-ledger close activities Maintaining clear and audit-ready working papers GST calculations and reporting across the group Supporting financial control and compliance processes Role Requirements To be successful in this role, you will bring: Proven accounting experience within a medium to large organisation Strong month-end accounting and reconciliation experience Advanced Excel capability and confidence using financial systems A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field Company: Archway Recruitment Date posted: 19th Aug, 2026 #J-18808-Ljbffr
