Transport & Warehousing Team Member – Join Our Mission to Rebuild Lives Woven Earth (Trust) – Silverdale, North Island Based in Silverdale, Woven Earth is a grassroots charity dedicated to creating more loving homes for family violence survivors and their children. We furnish empty houses, providing the practical support needed to give the hand-up and dignity they deserve to safely rebuild their lives. We are in an exciting period of growth and are looking for a reliable, hands-on Transport & Warehousing Team Member to keep our depot running smoothly and most importantly deliver homes in a respectful and caring manner to families we support. The role is permanent part-time, Monday – Thursday 30 hours per week with a 8.45am start time. You will be responsible for collecting donated furniture, maintaining our furniture warehouse space, monitoring and reporting on furniture levels, supporting the day-to-day running of our depot and delivering a high standard of customer service when interacting with our agency partners, families we are supporting and donors. Load and deliver furniture and household goods to families from Warkworth to Pukekohe Pick up and assess collections from donors and book into warehouse inventory Maintain and report on inventory to ensure stock levels are maintained Ensure the Warehouse is tidy and well kept Manage the vehicle fleet (2 x vans) Who we're looking for: A warm, respectful person able to build rapport with donors, families, and agency partners and volunteers. A valid, clean class 1 driver's licence with eligibility to drive in New Zealand. Physically fit and able to do regular heavy lifting and moving of furniture. A strong communicator, clear, prompt and professional always. Pallet stacker experience preferred. Comfortable with digital tools: Monday.com, WhatsApp, and a smartphone for photos and admin. Highly organised, with real attention to detail and the kind of person who notices when something's missing. A can do attitude, able to confidently handle whatever situation presents and solve problems as they arise. A current, clean New Zealand Police check.
