Senior Solicitor / Associate - Corporate

We’re on the lookout for a sharp, motivated transactional lawyer to join Duncan Cotterill’s Auckland team, working closely with our national Corporate practice. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys complex deal work, values strong client relationships and wants to keep building their career within a collaborative national team. You’ll advise an impressive mix of clients, including established corporates, privately owned businesses, start-ups, investors, funders and international clients, on matters that are as interesting as they are impactful. While you’ll be based in Auckland, your work will support the firm’s national practice, giving you exposure to clients, partners and colleagues across our offices. The role will suit someone who enjoys getting close to clients and transactions, taking ownership of key workstreams and delivering pragmatic, commercially savvy advice to clients who value your input. What you’ll be working on: Mergers and acquisitions, including business sale and purchase transactions Private capital raisings Joint ventures, shareholder arrangements and restructurings Employee share schemes, commercial contracts and broader corporate advisory work Auckland-based matters as well as work supporting the firm’s national Corporate practice You’ll be part of a high-performing, down-to-earth team that thrives on solving complex legal challenges and supporting each other to do great work.
