Renewable Energy Business Development Manager We’re looking for a motivated Renewable Energy Business Development Manager who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities and helping customers find the right solar solution for their needs. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is highly results based, can self-generate leads (includes cold calling), can build strategic partnerships, and must have a hunter type mentality! The role You’ll be responsible for: Generating new sales through calls, email, referrals and networking. Meeting with residential and commercial customers to understand their energy needs. Recommending tailored solar solutions and preparing quotes and proposals. Managing your sales pipeline and following opportunities through to close. Building strong customer relationships and creating referral opportunities. Working alongside technical and installation teams to deliver a great customer experience. Achieving and exceeding individual sales targets. About you You’ll bring proven sales experience, strong communication skills and a confident, customer-focused approach. Experience in renewable energy is a must. You’ll need to be self-motivated, commercially driven, comfortable handling objections and confident working both independently and as part of a team. A current NZ driver's licence is required, along with the flexibility to travel around Auckland, Hamilton and Tauranga for customer meetings. What’s on offer Competitive base salary + commission.
