Sales Account Manager - Printing and Signage

Sales Account Manager - Printing and Signage We are looking for an experienced Sales Account Manager to join our Christchurch team as soon as possible. You will work with new and existing customers, helping turn their ideas into practical print, signage and display solutions. You will also keep all the detail tight behind the scenes, quoting accurately, preparing jobs properly and getting them into the system so the production team can get moving. What the role is about This is a customer-facing role with plenty of hands on job management. You will listen, ask the right questions and recommend good solutions that work. From there, you will make sure the job is well scoped, accurately quoted and ready for production. Good communication and good processing go hand in hand here. Customers know what is happening, and the production team has the information they need to deliver the job properly. Your day-to-day work will include: Looking after a portfolio of new and existing customers Building strong, long term customer relationships Meeting customers on site, at their workplace, by phone and online Specifying print, signage and display solutions Preparing accurate quotes and following them through Processing jobs into our system efficiently and correctly Making sure job details, measurements, materials, deadlines and installation requirements are clear Coordinating with designers, production staff and external contractors Managing jobs from the initial enquiry through to completion Keeping customers informed and following up when needed Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and bring in new work Who we’re looking for We are looking for someone who is confident with customers, organised with detail and comfortable taking full ownership of a job. Knowledge of the print industry is important. Experience with large format digital print, signage, display products or a related industry would be a strong advantage. You might be a good fit if you: Have experience in sales, account management or customer service Understand print production, preferably large format digital print Can turn a customer brief into a clear and accurate production job Are confident quoting, specifying and processing work Work quickly without losing accuracy Have strong time management and organisational skills Communicate clearly with customers and the wider team Can manage several jobs and priorities at once Take initiative and find practical solutions Stay calm when deadlines are tight or plans change Take pride in seeing a job through from start to finish Are willing to attend occasional customer events or networking activities Enjoy working as part of a team and are up for a laugh Why join Adgraphix Adgraphix has been producing large-format print, signage and display work since 1999.
