About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to join the Diabetes and Endocrinology Service based in Northside. This is a permanent, part time role, 32 hours a week working set hours with some flexibility as negotiated. This will be discussed further at the interview. In this role, you will report directly to the Charge Nurse – Ambulatory Care and work closely with a collaborative multidisciplinary team. You will also work in partnership with Endocrinologists and Nurse Practitioners, receiving clinical guidance and support as required. About you Are active and positive team players Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills Are committed to delivering high-quality nursing care Are adaptable and motivated in a changing healthcare environment Hold a Level 3 PDRP (or can demonstrate equivalent experience) Hold a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC) Previous knowledge or experience in diabetes and/or endocrine conditions is advantageous; however, comprehensive training will be provided for the right candidate. About the Team/Service The Diabetes and Endocrinology Service provides specialist care for patients with a wide range of diabetes and endocrine conditions. Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua – MidCentral is a 350-bed hospital in the city of Palmerston North, Manawatū, a city in the Lower North Island of New Zealand.
