Experienced Designer & CAD/CAM Technician Waikato Wardrobes – Hamilton, North Island We design, manufacture, and install custom wardrobes, shelving, and storage solutions throughout Hamilton, the wider Waikato, and beyond. Using advanced CAD, CNC, and Laser technology, we control the process and quality from design through to installation. We are seeking an experienced Designer & CAD/CAM Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong design experience who is confident using CAD software, ideally PRO100, and either has CAM/CNC programming experience or is eager to grow their skills in this area. Key Responsibilities as Experienced Designer and Salesperson Consult with clients to create customised wardrobe and storage solutions Deliver excellent customer service throughout the sales and design process Read and interpret architectural/builders plans Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines Key Responsibilities as Experienced CAD/CAM Technician Design cabinetry and sliding door systems using CAD software (preferred PRO100) Prepare jobs for production using CAM software and CNC machinery You Will Bring Proven experience in design, sales, or cabinetry drafting Strong computer skills and CAD software experience ( PRO100 highly regarded ) Ability to read plans and visualise spaces accurately Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Sound mathematical and measurement skills Logical problem-solving ability and decision-making confidence Strong communication skills with both residential and commercial clients Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, self-motivated, and customer focused attitude Current Full Driver Licence Hours Full Time (40 hours) Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 4.30pm (to be confirmed) Saturday: Occasional showroom cover on Saturdays Why Join Us?
