Senior leadership opportunity | Operational excellence | Growth | People & culture MS Civil is looking for an experienced General Manager to help lead the next stage of our growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a key senior leadership role with responsibility for operational performance across our civil infrastructure business. Leading our Business Unit Managers, you’ll turn strategy into action – ensuring our teams deliver safely, consistently and commercially across our operating footprint. We’re looking for a proven civil infrastructure leader who combines strong commercial judgement with genuine people leadership. You’ll understand the realities of civil contracting, know what great project and operational delivery looks like, and be equally comfortable around the leadership table, with clients, and out on site with our teams. The opportunity As General Manager, you’ll play a central role in strengthening the way we operate today while helping shape where MS Civil goes next. You’ll be responsible for: Leading and supporting our Business Unit Managers to achieve strong, consistent operational performance. Translating business strategy into clear operational priorities and measurable results. Driving safe, high-quality and commercially disciplined project delivery. Strengthening accountability, consistency and collaboration across the business. Building and maintaining trusted relationships with key clients and industry partners. Supporting sustainable growth and identifying opportunities to improve business performance. Developing leadership capability and creating an environment where our people can perform at their best. Ensuring the culture and values that have made MS Civil successful remain at the heart of how we grow. About you You’ll bring significant leadership experience within civil infrastructure, construction or contracting, together with a strong understanding of the commercial and operational drivers of a successful contracting business. We expect you’ll have: Proven senior operational leadership experience in the civil infrastructure sector. Strong commercial acumen and an understanding of project risk, performance and profitability. A track record of leading and developing high-performing teams and senior leaders. Strong relationships and credibility with clients and industry stakeholders. The ability to move confidently between strategy and operational detail. A practical, decisive and collaborative leadership style. A track record of supporting growth without compromising safety, quality or delivery. The judgement and character to positively contribute to an established leadership team and culture. Why MS Civil?
