About the Role As Duty Manager, you will be one of the faces of our lodges and play a key role in ensuring every guest receives an exceptional experience from arrival to departure. You will lead by example, supporting daily lodge operations while creating a warm, engaging and highly personalised atmosphere for guests. Your responsibilities will include: Delivering a genuine six-star experience Building relationships with guests and ensuring their stay exceeds expectations Anticipating guest needs and resolving requests with professionalism, warmth and efficiency Coordinating guest activities, dining experiences and special occasions Supporting front office operations, reservations and guest communications Assisting with daily lodge operations and service delivery across departments Leading and motivating team members to consistently deliver exceptional hospitality Managing guest feedback and ensuring any concerns are handled with care and urgency Maintaining the highest standards expected of world-class luxury lodges No two days are the same, and the ability to engage confidently with guests from around the world is essential. Who We're Looking For While hospitality experience is valuable, personality is everything. We're looking for someone who naturally enjoys connecting with people and thrives on creating memorable experiences. You will ideally have: A genuine passion for people and outstanding customer service A warm, engaging and confident personality with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills Whether you've worked in hotels, lodges, tourism, retail, aviation, restaurants, or another customer-focused industry, if you have a genuine passion for service excellence and attention to detail, we would love to hear from you. The ability to remain calm, professional and solutions-focused under pressure Leadership skills and the confidence to make decisions The ability to anticipate guest expectations and deliver thoughtful, personalised service High attention to detail and pride in presentation A positive attitude and willingness to support all areas of lodge operations Most importantly, you will be someone who enjoys making others feel special.
