Manager - Kit Homes Division to lead the prefabrication and transportable building division of a well-established engineered wood products manufacturer. Based in Bulolo, you'll oversee the production of transportable buildings, prefabricated kits, bridge decks, and other timber-based construction solutions. This leadership role is responsible for managing a team of 60 and ensuring consistent, high-quality output across all projects. Based in Bulolo, you'll oversee the production of transportable buildings, prefabricated kits, bridge decks, and other timber-based construction solutions. This leadership role is responsible for managing a team of 60 and ensuring consistent, high-quality output across all projects. Location: Bulolo, Morobe Province, Papua New Guinea Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the Kit Division team to deliver high-quality, timely outcomes. Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities. Oversee the manufacture of kit-set and transportable products. Manage stock control, materials, and logistics for completed items. Operate and supervise the use of Docking Saws, Double End Tenoners, Scarfing Equipment, and RF Presses. Maintain a safe and efficient work environment aligned with company procedures. Mentor and support workshop staff, including tradespeople and apprentices. What You’ll Bring Certificate III in Carpentry and Joinery (or equivalent) from a recognised institution. At least 5 years' experience in a Carpentry/Joinery Foreman or similar leadership role. Strong team leadership and workshop management skills. Proficiency in reading complex drawings and managing multiple projects. Solid knowledge of woodworking equipment and manufacturing processes. Experience in quality control and driving team performance. Key Challenges Developing a motivated, quality-focused workshop culture. Managing stock flow and minimising material waste.
