We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Labourer to join our team in Queenstown. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-end residential and commercial projects,providing essential support to skilled trades in a fast-paced construction environment. You will be a vital part of our site crew, ensuring projects stay on schedule and sites are maintained to a premium standard. What You’ll Be Doing Site Preparation & Maintenance: Clearing debris, organizing materials, and ensuring a safe, tidy workspace at all times. Trade Support: Assisting carpenters, bricklayers, and other tradespeople with heavy lifting, tool handling, and basic assembly tasks. Material Management: Loading and unloading deliveries, and moving heavy construction materials safely across varied terrain. Equipment Operation: Using basic power tools and machinery (such as drills, grinders, or compactors) under supervision. Concrete & Foundations: Assisting with concrete pours, boxing, and site leveling. Safety Compliance: Adhering strictly to health and safety protocols, particularly in challenging alpine weather conditions. What We’re Looking For Proven Experience: At least 6–12 months of experience on a construction site or in a physically demanding manual role. Physical Fitness: Capability to perform heavy lifting and manual tasks throughout the day in an outdoor environment. Reliability: A "turn-up-on-time" attitude and a strong work ethic—our team relies on you to keep the site moving. Communication: Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a large site crew. Safety Conscious: You should have your own PPE (Hi Vis, Hard Hat, Steel Cap Boots, Gloves, Glasses, Site Safety card) Logistics: A valid driver’s license and your own reliable transportation to get to various sites around Queenstown. Weekly pay. Competitive hourly rate ($28–$30 per hour depending on experience). Long-term training and the chance to transition into an apprenticeship or skilled trade role.
