Raukura Hauora o Tainui is seeking a General Practitioner to join our established primary care team across our clinics in Hamilton, Huntly and Ngāruawāhia. You will: Assess, diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic health conditions Support patients and whānau to improve their health and wellbeing Promote preventative healthcare and disease management Work collaboratively with nurses, clinicians and community‑based services Deliver high‑quality clinical care that meets professional and regulatory standards Contribute to positive health outcomes through education, partnership and continuity of care About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand A current Annual Practising Certificate Experience working in general practice or primary healthcare Strong clinical assessment and decision‑making skills A patient‑focused approach to care Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills An understanding of culturally safe practice and health equity An appreciation of Te Tiriti o Waitangi within the health sector Knowledge of Te Reo Māori and Tikanga Māori is advantageous but not essential. We are looking for a practitioner who is open to learning, values diversity, and is committed to providing respectful and inclusive care to all patients and whānau.
