Service Technician (Window & Gutter Cleaning) A Plus Services NZ Ltd – Christchurch, South Island We are seeking a dedicated Service Technician (Windows & Gutters) to join the A Plus Services NZ Ltd team in Christchurch. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality cleaning and maintenance services to our valued residential and commercial clients throughout the region. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing professional window cleaning services, as well as other services we offer. You will be responsible for ensuring every job meets our exacting standards and contributes to building long-lasting customer relationships. This role has an immediate start available. Key responsibilities Perform professional window cleaning services on residential and commercial properties, using industry-standard equipment and techniques Clean and maintain gutters, downpipes and associated drainage systems to ensure optimal functionality Moss Spray roofs and other surfaces Perform Building Washes using professional equipment Provide recommendations to clients regarding maintenance requirements and additional services Maintain all tools, equipment and vehicles in clean, safe and operational condition Adhere to health and safety regulations and company protocols when working at heights and with specialised equipment Complete service reports accurately and communicate job outcomes to management Build positive relationships with clients and respond professionally to inquiries and feedback Work efficiently to meet scheduled appointments and service timelines What we’re looking for Proven experience working in the cleaning services industry, ideally with window cleaning experience Demonstrated ability to work safely at heights and with specialist equipment, including water-fed poles and high-access systems Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results on every job Physical fitness and capability to perform physically demanding work, including bending, climbing and carrying equipment Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate professionally with clients Valid New Zealand driving license and access to reliable transport Current or willingness to obtain relevant health and safety certifications (such as working at heights qualifications) Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic Problem-solving abilities and capability to work independently as well as within a team What we offer We offer: Competitive remuneration reflecting your skills and experience starting from $27 per hour Full-time, stable employment with a reputable local company A work van, and all required equipment Ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge Access to quality equipment and resources to perform your role effectively Supportive team environment with opportunities for career progression Health and safety commitment, ensuring you have the right equipment and training to work safely About us A Plus Services NZ Ltd is a trusted provider of professional cleaning and maintenance services throughout Central Canterbury.
