We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Business Excellence Coordinator to join our new Business Excellence Hub. About the opportunity The Business Excellence Hub has been established to provide coordinated support for Council’s operational teams and create a more resilient, efficient, and responsive service model. By bringing services together, the Hub will help reduce duplication, improve consistency, and support smarter ways of working. Working closely with our Parks & Property and Infrastructure Operations teams, you'll provide a broad range of administrative and operational support that helps keep essential services running smoothly. From customer requests and work orders through to payroll, purchasing, compliance reporting, records management and business systems, no two days will be the same. What you'll be doing Supporting operational teams with CRM, work order, and customer request administration Monitoring workflows to ensure work is completed accurately and on time Providing payroll, purchasing, and financial administration support Maintaining accurate records and ensuring information is current and reliable Supporting compliance and operational reporting requirements Working across a range of business systems and technologies Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiency Providing flexible support across the Business Excellence Hub Delivering excellent service to internal and external customers About you You’ll be someone who enjoys being organised, solving problems, and helping others succeed. You’ll thrive in a busy environment, confidently juggle competing priorities, and take pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work. We’ll be looking for: Experience in a busy administration or business support role Strong customer service and communication skills Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy Experience supporting finance, payroll, purchasing, or operational administration activities Confidence using a range of business systems and learning new technologies Strong planning and organisational skills A continuous improvement mindset and willingness to embrace change Most importantly, you’ll enjoy working in a collaborative environment, supporting essential Council services, and contributing to a team that’s building smarter and more efficient ways of working across the organisation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
