With an ever-growing workload and strong pipeline of projects, we're seeking an Intermediate Civil Engineer to join our Invercargill team. This role offers the opportunity for end-to-end involvement, from design through to construction supervision, working alongside a strong team of ten engineers, including three Chartered Professional Engineers, on a diverse range of exciting land development and civil infrastructure projects throughout New Zealand. The requirements of the role is flexible to suit the successful candidate, but may include the following: Working in collaboration with our wider team to deliver investigation, planning, and design of civil roading and 3 waters systems for both private development and public infrastructure. This will include completion of technical design, plan production, technical reports and procurement documentation. Construction Management and Contract Administration (CMCA) on active projects, generally working as Engineers representative to NZS3910 contracts. Project and job management. Our ideal candidate will bring a great attitude and high level of enthusiasm to their work, as well as an ability to build and maintain effective relationships with our clients, colleagues, councils, consultants, and other stakeholders. Strong time management and organisational skills are important, and you will have a focus on professional development, actively seeking out learning opportunities whenever possible. A passion for maximising the potential of projects and developments for the benefit of our clients is non-negotiable! To be successful in this role you will also: Have at least 5 + years working experience, ideally within a consultant or contracting environment. Be technically capable with the ability to write technical reports and deal with complexity in design or construction. Be proficient in the use of Civil 3D, or the demonstrated ability to learn and apply new software skills. Enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to professional growth.
