About the Role As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver safe and high-quality care while working collaboratively with patients, families, communities and multidisciplinary teams. You will use your clinical expertise, critical thinking and evidence-informed practice to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care that meets the unique needs of each individual. About You You are a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse who is committed to delivering exceptional care and making a positive difference in the lives of patients. You value collaboration, communicate effectively, and demonstrate cultural awareness in every interaction. It is essential that you have the following: Registered Nurse qualification and current Annual Practising Certificate (APC) with the Nursing Council of New Zealand. Demonstrated commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, Māori health equity and culturally safe practice, including an understanding of tikanga Māori and the impact of health inequities. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to deliver evidence-based care, manage risk and evaluate patient outcomes. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, enabling effective engagement with patients, whānau, colleagues and multidisciplinary teams. Commitment to professional accountability, quality improvement and ongoing development, including mandatory training, reflective practice and maintaining competence in a changing healthcare environment.
