At Foleys , we're looking for a motivated Service Estimator to join our Dunedin team. About the Role As our Service Estimator, you'll be responsible for preparing accurate quotations for domestic, maintenance, and light commercial plumbing, gasfitting, and drainlaying work. You'll work closely with customers, technicians, and managers to understand project requirements, develop practical solutions, and help convert opportunities into successful jobs. You’ll play an important role in building strong customer relationships while ensuring quotations are accurate, competitive, and delivered on time. What You'll Be Doing Preparing accurate and competitive quotations for residential and light commercial work. Reviewing customer enquiries and determining project scope. Sourcing material and labour pricing. Following up quotations to maximise conversion opportunities. Providing outstanding customer service throughout the quoting process. Working collaboratively with technicians and managers to ensure accurate pricing. Supporting scheduling and coordination of quoted work where required. Championing Foleys' Health, Safety & Wellness standards. Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the business. What We’re Looking For You’ll ideally have: A Plumbing, Gasfitting and/or Drainlaying qualification, or relevant industry experience. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail. Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office. A willingness to learn estimating and pricing processes. A full, clean New Zealand Driver Licence. The legal right to live and work permanently in New Zealand. It would be great if you also have: Previous plumbing or construction administration experience. Experience using estimating or job management software. Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills. Knowledge of plumbing materials and industry terminology. Why Join Foleys?
