Civil Foreman – Tauranga, Bay of Plenty Are you an experienced Civil Foreman with a strong background in drainage and siteworks?We want to hear from you! We’re seeking motivated and skilled Civil Foremen to join a respected civil contracting company operating across the Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions. Known for their expertise in earthworks, 3-waters, civil siteworks, and subdivisions, our client delivers innovative and sustainable projects that make a lasting impact. About the Role As a Civil Foreman, you will lead a site crew and play a key role in the delivery of drainage and civil construction projects. Working closely with the Site Manager, you’ll ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor crew members, including apprentices and junior staff, to maintain high-quality workmanship. Project Delivery: Coordinate site operations, allocate resources, and ensure job progress aligns with project goals. Health & Safety: Champion site safety by enforcing H&S protocols and maintaining accurate documentation. Quality Assurance: Interpret plans, review workmanship, conduct QA tests, and ensure compliance with specifications. Communication: Act as the link between site teams and management, providing regular updates and addressing any site issues. What You’ll Bring Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Foreman or similar leadership role within civil construction. Solid hands-on experience in drainage, earthworks, and siteworks (Operating experience is essential). Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications. Strong leadership and communication skills. Excellent knowledge of construction health & safety regulations. Full Class 1 Driver’s License (Class 2 or WTR endorsements advantageous). Why Join Us?
