About the role We are seeking an experienced Senior Watchmaker to join our Rolex & Patek Philippe Boutique in the heart of Auckland CBD. This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled professional who takes pride in delivering precision workmanship and outstanding service to discerning clients. As our Senior Watchmaker, you will play a key role in ensuring our Rolex, Tudor and Patek Philippe clients receive exceptional onshore servicing and repairs. In this permanent role, working alongside a passionate team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest technical standards while supporting an outstanding aftersales experience. Your responsibilities will include: Diagnosing faults and preparing repair estimates Servicing, repairing and maintaining luxury mechanical and quartz timepieces Testing timepiece accuracy and performance Repairing or replacing damaged or worn components Polishing, reassembling and performing final quality control checks Maintaining workshop equipment and ensuring a clean, organised workspace Managing parts inventory and ordering components as required Accurately recording repair details, service history and associated documentation Working collaboratively with the Aftersales team, Boutique Managers and fellow Watchmakers to deliver an exceptional client experiencePromoting a safe and compliant working environment About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Rolex Watchmaker certification with completed Rolex training levels A minimum of 5 years' experience as a qualified Watchmaker Experience and/or qualifications with Patek Philippe (highly regarded) Exceptional technical skills and attention to detail A commitment to quality craftsmanship and efficiency Strong organisational and communication skills A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively within a team A high level of accountability, professionalism and pride in your work Why Join Partridge Jewellers?
