We're looking for a commercially minded management accountant to join our team in Alexandra, Central Otago on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Whether you're starting out in accounting or already have experience behind you, this is a chance to do meaningful work with a supportive team that's focused on getting things done. You'll partner with operational and commercial leaders to deliver reporting, insights, and analysis that help shape smart decisions across the business. Key Role Responsibilities Prepare monthly management accounts and performance reporting. Support budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow planning. Provide financial analysis and commercial insights to operational teams. Assist with month-end, reconciliations, audit, and year-end reporting requirements. Identify opportunities to improve reporting, controls, and business performance. We're looking for someone with A tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. Experience in management accounting, commercial finance, or business partnering, or a strong willingness to learn if you're starting out. Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems. Sound analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a practical approach to problem solving. Clear communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with financial and non-financial stakeholders. Medical insurance and life insurance after the eligibility period.
