About the Role Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Whanganui is seeking applications from an experienced and innovative Nurse Educator to join the Te Whare Toi team. This role is responsible for leading and facilitating nursing workforce development and education initiatives that support excellence in clinical practice and professional development. About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: Demonstrated experience in nursing education, workforce development, professional development and/or clinical leadership. Experience designing, facilitating and evaluating education programmes and learning opportunities. Knowledge of educational assessment processes and adult learning principles. A commitment to workforce development initiatives that improve health outcomes, service integration and collaborative models of care. Experience supporting nurses to develop professionally and deliver safe, evidence-based and culturally responsive care. Strong relationship‑building, communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to work effectively across a range of healthcare settings and stakeholder groups. The successful applicant will be able to work flexibly to meet the education and workforce development needs of the organisation. You will be a Registered Nurse with a current Nursing Council of New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate and hold a master's qualification in Nursing (or equivalent) or be actively working towards completion. You will also demonstrate a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, equity‑focused practice, and continuous quality improvement. The successful applicant will be able to work flexibly to meet the education and workforce development needs of the organisation. About the Team/Service/Location Te Whare Toi provides leadership for nursing workforce development, education and professional practice across Health New Zealand - Whanganui.
