Registered Nurse Aged Care Clinical manager Fixed term We are offering anexciting opportunity for a clinical professional wishing to move to the next level in developing leadership skills whilst working alongside an experienced and supportive Facility Manager. Equally, the short-term nine month contract may be of interest to an experienced clinical manager. About the role As Clinical Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day clinical leadership of the home. You will lead all clinical care and ensure best practice standards are maintained, complete interRAI assessments and develop person-centred care plans, support and mentor caregivers and registered nurses, work closely with the Facility Manager to ensure quality and compliance, participate in the shared on-call roster, and transport residents to appointments using the facility vehicle when required. Key responsibilities Leading all clinical care and ensuring best practice standards are maintained Completing interRAI assessments and developing person-centred care plans Supporting and mentoring caregivers and registered nurses Working closely with the Facility Manager to ensure quality and compliance Participating in the shared on-call roster Transporting residents to appointments using the facility vehicle when required About you Current Nursing Council of New Zealand registration and Annual Practising Certificate Previous experience working in New Zealand aged residential care Excellent clinical assessment and leadership skills Confidence working independently and making sound clinical decisions A full New Zealand driver's licence and confidence driving residents to appointments A genuine passion for delivering person-centred care Legal right to work in New Zealand Fixed-term employment from 5 October 2026 until early July 2027 Competitive remuneration based on experience Flexible hours and roster A supportive, family-owned workplace with over 20 years of serving the local community A supportive environment to further develop your leadership and management skills The chance to work in a small facility where relationships with residents, families and colleagues truly matter About us A supportive, family-owned workplace with over 20 years of serving the local community. #J-18808-Ljbffr
