Omni-Health Pte Ltd – Rotorua, North Island Are you an experienced Extended Care Paramedic (ECP) looking to work at the top of your scope in a supportive, progressive primary care environment? As an Extended Care Paramedic, you will play a key role in delivering same-day acute care, independently assessing and treating patients within your scope of practice while working alongside our General Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses and wider clinical team. This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll manage everything from minor injuries and illnesses through to urgent presentations, helping improve access to healthcare for our diverse community. You'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference for whānau, supporting equitable access to healthcare while delivering culturally safe, patient-centred care. Independently assess, diagnose and manage patients presenting with acute and urgent conditions within your scope of practice. Perform clinical procedures and provide evidence-based treatment. Work collaboratively with General Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team. Identify patients requiring escalation, referral or transfer to secondary care. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using electronic medical records. Participate in quality improvement and clinical governance activities. Promote health education and preventative care where appropriate. Deliver patient-centred care that reflects best clinical practice. Demonstrate manaakitanga and provide culturally safe care to patients and their whānau. Mōu | What You'll Bring Current registration with the New Zealand Paramedic Council. Endorsement as an Extended Care Paramedic (or working towards endorsement). Excellent clinical assessment and decision‑making skills. The ability to work autonomously while thriving within a multidisciplinary team. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. An understanding of Māori health perspectives and a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi. A commitment to delivering exceptional, patient‑centred healthcare.
