Our Nelson Plant is currently seeking an experienced Trades Assistant. Your duties will include: Working closely with Shift Engineers to complete any maintenance work and repairs. Ensure all Engineering and Support services for the plant are operating at optimum levels. Report any equipment faults and/or damages in a timely manner. Conducting repairs on faulty equipment and machinery. Day Shift, with every second weekend off and a flexible roster can be negotiated during the week. We are looking for someone who is mechanically minded and has experience inhands‑on maintenance and diagnostics.To be successful in this role you will also have: A high focus on Health and Safety. Good problem-solving with innovative thinking. A high level of communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience within a Manufacturing Environment. A forklift licence would be highly desirable. A trade qualification in engineering or fitting is highly desirable. Ngā painga - what's in it for you?
