We're on the hunt for a Front Office & Reservations Manager to join us for the busy summer season and play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences at Tahuna Pod Hostel.

About the Role

As the heart of our front office operation, you'll be the go-to person for guest arrivals, departures, reservations, enquiries and all things customer experience.

This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. One minute you'll be helping a guest plan their Queenstown adventure, the next you'll be managing reservations, optimising occupancy, or ensuring check-ins run like clockwork.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing all reservations, bookings and guest enquiries
• Ensuring seamless guest arrivals and departures
• Preparing for daily check-ins and check-outs
• Handling guest requests, special bookings and resolving issues professionally
• Managing booking payments and guest accounts
• Producing daily, weekly and monthly reservation reports
• Maintaining high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction
• Supporting the Hostel Manager with operational procedures and service standards
• Providing local recommendations and helping guests make the most of their stay
• Ensuring front office, health and safety, and security standards are maintained

About You

You'll bring:

• Previous experience in hospitality, accommodation, tourism or front office operations
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confidence using reservation or booking systems
• The ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
• A positive, can-do attitude and genuine passion for hospitality
