Senior ServiceNow Platform Engineer

About the Role As a Senior ServiceNow Platform Engineer, you will join an agile, collaborative team supporting a large enterprise environment across New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific. In this role, you will be the key person focused on the platform engineering, administration, configuration, development, project delivery and overall support of our ServiceNow platform. It 7s a varied role but some of the key responsibilities include: Manage and administer Service Now across development, test and production environments. Manage platform releases, upgrades, patching and ongoing platform health. Lead smaller enhancements and contribute to larger projects. Identify process improvements and opportunities for efficiency. Collaborate with internal stakeholder and external partners to deliver platform and workflow improvements. Develop systems integration and process automations using ServiceNow. Create and configure Discovery, Orchestration, Business Rules, Policies, and other elements as required within the platform. Create and maintain Service Catalogue, Reports, Workflows, and Dashboards. For this role, we are also looking for: Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field. Extensive hands-on experience in administration, configuration, development or platform engineering roles. At least 3 years a0experience supporting and enhancing ServiceNow within a large or complex enterprise environment, with exposure to ITSM, ITBM, SPM and CMDB (or other related modules) Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to build and maintain good working relationships with business leaders, product owners and users at all levels. Experience with Agile/Scrum/Waterfall methodologies is advantageous. Excellent communication with strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Self-starter and comfortable working independently within a small, collaborative team environment. Why Join Us?
